Where is your computer repair shop located in Toronto?

Our workshop is at 39 Pintail Crescent, North York, Toronto, ON M3A 2Y6, in the Fenside-Parkwoods neighbourhood. It's a workshop rather than a storefront, which is why we can keep hours from 7 AM to 11 PM, 7 days a week. Everything is by appointment only. We don't do walk-ins or repair while you wait, so message us first to book a drop-off time.

Do you repair Macs and MacBooks in Toronto?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we repair MacBooks, iMacs and Mac minis. Common jobs are frozen Macs, boot loops, iCloud problems and Macs that have gotten slow. Mac repairs start at $40. We only work on laptops and computers, so we don't repair phones or tablets.

Do you support Linux, or only Windows and Mac?

We do Linux too. We install it, fix it and set up software on Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Fedora, Debian and most other distributions, including dual-boot setups and older machines that need a lighter system. Linux support starts at $30.

Can you set up our Google Business Profile so customers can find us?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We create or claim your Google Business Profile, get it verified, and fill in your hours, location, categories and photos so you show up when people nearby search. It's worth doing alongside a new or existing website.

What areas of Toronto do you serve?

Accepted Answer

The whole Greater Toronto Area: the City of Toronto (North York, Don Mills, Leaside, East York, Scarborough, Downtown, Etobicoke) and nearby cities such as Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Pickering and Oshawa. Drop-off at our North York workshop is available to everyone. Pickup and travel are not free and the charge depends on where you are, so use the service-area map or message us for the amount before you book.

Yes, and it's one of the jobs we do most. We remove the malware, check that nothing is left behind, and set up protection so it's less likely to happen again. It starts at $35.

Often, yes. We recover photos, documents and other files from failing hard drives, systems that won't boot, and files that were deleted by accident. We look at the drive first and give you a quote before doing any recovery work.

Yes. For seniors we do larger-text and simplified setups, video calling for family, and scam protection, remotely or by drop-off. For estates and downsizing we securely wipe devices, transfer files to family, and advise on donating or recycling.

Yes. We set up mesh Wi-Fi to remove dead zones, secure your router, add a guest network, and reconnect everything after a router or ISP change. We also set up smart speakers, locks, cameras and thermostats, even across different brands.

Yes. For a hacked account we reset passwords, turn on two-factor login and secure your other accounts. We also set up personal websites, move or create email (including on your own domain), and show you how to use AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude.

Yes. We support small businesses, offices, professional firms and home-based businesses with workstation setup, business Wi-Fi, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, backups, security, and remote or workshop support.

Yes. We sit down with you, map out how work actually moves through your business, and look for the repetitive tasks that could be automated or handled by a custom tool or a connection between systems. It works for a new business or one that's been running for years.

The first consultation is free. Consulting is $40/hour, and setup work like workstations, network printers or software installs is priced per item. Larger projects, like a new office, a clinic build-out or a custom tool, get a fixed quote before anything starts.

Mostly remote. Software, account, email and cloud problems are usually faster to fix remotely, so we start there. Devices that need hands-on repair are dropped off at the workshop by appointment, and we can arrange pickup for a location-based charge confirmed before you book.

WhatsApp is fastest. We usually reply within minutes, 7 AM to 11 PM, 7 days a week. If an outage has your team stopped, we start remotely as soon as we can book you in. There's no ticket queue: you talk to the technician doing the work.

Do we have to sign a monthly managed IT contract?

Accepted Answer

No. You hire us for a specific job, like a setup, a consultation or a migration, and we quote that job. If you'd like a regular slot, we can book recurring sessions, but you pay for the time used, not a fixed monthly plan. The only monthly plans we offer are optional ones for looking after a website or an automation we've set up.

Can you work with the systems, software, and vendors we already have?

Yes, and that's most of the work. We work with your existing practice-management, accounting, point-of-sale and booking systems and their vendors. If something is really holding you back we'll show you the options, but we'd rather get what you have working well than sell you a replacement.

No storefront means lower overhead, and that keeps our prices down. You also talk directly to the person doing the work, get more flexible hours, and deal with the same technician every time, which is hard to get from a larger IT company.

No. Pickup and travel are never free or included in the repair price. The charge depends on your address, the distance and the estimated travel time, and we tell you the amount before you book. Dropping the device off at our North York workshop avoids it.

No. We don't offer walk-ins or while-you-wait repairs, and we don't repair in front of customers. You drop the device off by appointment, we troubleshoot it properly at the workshop, then we contact you with our findings and a quote.

What happens after I drop my device off?

We record the problem you reported, inspect and diagnose the device, then contact you with our findings, the proposed repair and the total cost. We only go ahead after you explicitly approve the quote. When it's done we tell you the outcome, and you collect it or we arrange an agreed return, with any charge told to you in advance.

Then you don't pay for the repair. Our rule is no fix, no fee on drop-off repairs: you pay only if we resolve the problem you reported. Any pickup, travel or return charge you agreed to in advance is separate, which is why we confirm it before you book.
